Not bootloop, but random reboots

So I bought and LG G4 H812 (Canadian) second hand. Thought everything was sweet untiiiil: it rebooted on it's own. Fast foward to today, I've read all about the bootloop and other issues.

But this is not the same symptoms as the bootloop. For over a week now, it works just fine just with the periodic reboot.

So, is this the precursor to the bootloop? Or does that just happen all at once? Is this a different issue? Maybe software related? Maybe related to the 6.0 upgrade?
