Unlike other fingerprint sensors, in addition to being lightning fast (0.4 seconds), the Honor 8 fingerprint sensor is a button that can be programmed to open various applications. Both single, double and long press can be assigned to different actions.
This can be really handy when trying to access the camera fast, turn on the flashlight or even take a screenshot.
