Help! i have a galaxy s5 stuck in 4.4.2

My phone never got the sorftware update. I tried searching for it but i cant find it for my baseband version. I tried installing the update from another carrier and the phone booted fine and everything was working except that could not use my mobile data. Why? Thanks.
