LG G2 - Still worth it in 2016?

Hey guys! I'm new to Android Authority! My Nexus 5 has had a major issue and I believe it's unfixable. Therefor I'm looking at a new phone. My parents will help me buy a really good phone when I get my driver's license, but until then, 1 year from now, I need a phone.
