Super AMOLED vs Optic AMOLED

Hey..Guys,
I am looking for a suggestion and need some clarification.
The Samsung Devices have the Super AMOLED displays whereas the OnePlus 3 has Optic AMOLED, in comparison to the regular AMOLED displays, how different are they?, Could it mean slight tinkering in Colour profile?, What exactly is the difference.
Another query I have is One Plus 3 or Nexus 6P.
Yes, I have seen and extensively read through their reviews, but my main concern is Nexus 6p, is it a flagship device even today?...
