Issues transferring Music from laptop to Phone

Hi guys!

I made an AA account especially for this forum post so let's hope you guys can help me

So I have an OPPO r7, which runs Android 4.4.4 and ColorOS V2.1.0i and as the title suggests I'm having issues transferring music. I usually just plug my phone into my laptop and drag and drop the music to the desired location. I then use BlackPlayer EX Version 20.15 to play my music on my phone instead of the default music player. All sounds normal right?...
