For School/Multipurpose Use <$200, Which of These Tablets?

Dell Venue 8 7000
NVIDIA Shield K1

Would be great if it can be used with a stylus. Ideally less than $200, though I want it to last.
I had Galaxy Note 8 for almost 2 years (bought it refurbished) however it no longer charges. I was satisfied with the size, but unimpressed with battery life, really disliked the stylus capabilities, and various glitches and lagginess. It recently stopped charging, however.
I'm tempted to buy a tablet now so I can use it for my summer...
