What are the risks of getting of getting a G4?

I'm new on this forum so if threads like this one exist, I apologize.

Lately I've been thinking of grabbing a G4 for myself. In my opinion, it is a very good phone. The design is amazing and it has all the features that I need, not to mention low price. It's a very good phone overall. However, I keep stumbling upon this "boot-loop" issue and I wonder what are the chances of experiencing that issue? How often does it happen? Thanks!
