Invalid IMEI

Hi guys. I bought an unlocked Verizon-branded Samsung Galaxy S5 on eBay last July and have been using it on Straight Talk ever since. The phone works perfectly and performs like new, but I discovered that the IMEI comes up as invalid on a fair number of websites, as well as T-Mobile. Not blacklisted or blocked, but invalid. I am assuming the phone is refurbished, as it mentions that it is refurbished by a company called Asurion on the sticker behind the battery.
