Use BT device to record audio for video?

I am trying to use a bluetooth headset as a wireless mic to add audio while recording video. I have followed other instructions such as downloading the apps BTmono and using it with lgCamera. I have an Aukey EP-B19 headset. The headset works fine with the phone and I can use it to listen to audio from videos played on the phone.
