Moto X Pure or OnePlus 3? Is the $100 investment worth it? HELP!

I want to buy a new smartphone, but I have a really tight budget. I was watching reviews about both phones and I really dig them. First I was convinced that the Moto X Pure was going to be my next phone, but seeing all the technological improvements being made to smartphones now, I am not sure if it will end up being obsolete the next year. Another thing is, I am not really sure if the OnePlus 3 is really THAT MUCH better, I do like it a lot, but is the software really better than Moto X's?...
