LG K7 battery issue

Recently I've noticed they my K7 (Metro) had been rapidly draining battery even while on the charger. The battery drains quicker than if it were off the charger, and the phone had even died a few times. When this happens I'm usually only doing something like watching YouTube at about 65% brightness and on battery saver. Any help?
