Should i buy the Xperia Z3 or Xperia Z5 Compact?

I am looking to buy a compact smartphone and my search has narrowed me down to these two devices. I already have a Lumia 830(5 inches), which I feel to be too big, and that is why I am looking for a smaller device.

The difference between the two devices is 100 euros. Does the newer processor and the fingertip scanner worth to pay more money?

To be honest I have grown a bit skeptical over Sony smartphones after seeing the not so great Xperia X line of phones. If someone could help that...
