Quick question

I have an LG escape 2, I got it successfully rooted, but there's just a few things I'm still wanting to do to it that I cannot for the life of me figure out...

1) How do I get my status bar to quit having "Cricket" all the time?

2) How would I go about unblocking cricket's mobile hotspot limitation? I am still running through their service, and unfortunenatly with the $70 plan that I'm on, they block the hotspot unless I pay them every month for it. All I wanna do is use it for my laptop...
