Nexus 6p vs Oneplus3?? (My first real smartphone purchase)

Hi I'm a 37 year old guy who mainly always got my new tech fix from computers and gaming systems. I've honestly held out till now buying a premium smart phone device.

I currently have a cheap old moto e just to beat around with. I have a nexus 7 2013 and love the device (except for the charging port being loose).

I've done extensive research and reading and would like a mostly stock android experience or as close to stock as possible. Obviously having used a Nexus 7 tablet I'm familiar...
