My Moto G2 got dead while updating to Marshmallow.

Hello Sir,
As above said, my moto g2 is not working anymore from the last two days. It got dead while updating the system. I took it to the repairing center but they told me that the chip had got fired. Is it possible while updating the system? Kindly suggest me what to do in this situation.
