Moto G2 Wifi Connectivity Issue

I own a Moto G2 and let me tell you the device is great for the price. I have been experiencing issues with the Wifi connectivity. I have wifi @home and when I reach home and switch my Wifi on from mobile's top drag settings. I takes lot of time to connect to Wifi. But when I tap on the Wifi list, then I am shown the Wifi connection in progress and the wifi gets connected immediately. The issue is there. Is this issue because of Marshmallow update ? I don't...
