Samsung Galaxy s2 19100 soft bricked

I tried to flash a custom rom on my phone rooted and assumed installed
CWM-SuperSu-v0.97 it was supposed to root and install recovery or so I thought
when I flash the rom I got error installation failed so I tried another rom same result so I discovered
that the CWM was not installed so now no operating system but can still boot into recovery and download mode.
what makes it harder is that my laptop does not recognaise my phone tried other laptops same result.
