Change default music player from Google Play to Apple Music

Hi,

If this is in the wrong place ease kindly redirect me....

I recently made the switch from iPhone to Samsung galaxy and was really impressed with how easy it was to transfer all my files over, particularly my music.

However, i have an Apple Music account and all my music files have gone into Google Play and I can't seem to get them into Apple Music.

Does anyone know if there is a way to do this? If I delete Google Play would that help?
Pretty frustrating as the files came across...
