Scared to buy another LG after G4 bootloop experience

My LG G4's been stuck on a bootloop for a few weeks and I have no hope for it at this point. The G6 and V30 both look amazing and I'm thinking about getting one of them soon. The only thing keeping me from doing it is the G4 bootloop. I don't want to spend several hundred dollars on a device that could meet the same fate as my G4.

So my question to you all is, does the bootloop issue only occur on the G4 or could it happen on other LG devices?
