4G won't work

LG PHone (VS870 4G, LG Lucid 2) on Verizon network (though paid through PagePlusCellular) all of a sudden won't connect to 4G (or any) network. Tried turning off and removing sim card but didn't change. The little 4 G arrow at the top that points up (outgoing?) in lit but the downward pointing arrow (incoming?) only flashes briefly. Do I have to reset to factory settings?
