Pixel Phone vs LG G6

Hi

I'm considering buying either the LG G6 or the Pixel phone (not the XL) to my wife.
I've done the research but bottom line they are pretty much tie (let's say screen size is not an issue).
I would appreciate any help/suggestions including explanation/reasons please.
I'm wondering if any one can give me an extra information that the reviews don't show like problems that comes up after a while like bugs, software issues or issues that initial test doesn't show (like there was with the LG...
