Help! Problem with Honor 7X deleting Google Contacts data from Notes section

It appears that the interface limits the number of characters that are allowed in the note section of a Google Contacts. Portions of my notes were wiped off my Google contact after I had made phone calls and texts with this person.

I was able to restore the information from Google Contacts and I had to remove my Google account from the Honor 7X. This is a real problem for me and I am considering returning the phone.
