Icons not changing when applying a Samsung theme

Hello. I'm new here so I'm not sure where this post goes. I have a Galaxy J3 2016 AT&T and when I try to apply a theme from the theme store everything changes except the home screen icons. They are correct in the app manager in settings and also the lock screen just not the homescreen for some reason. It seems to coincide with the latest software update. Is anyone else having this issue?
