Flashing carrier specific Nougat Firmware on unlocked S7 Edge.

I recently purchased the US unlocked model of the Galaxy S7 edge (SM-G935U), and while i love the phone, i'm kinda annoyed by the fact that the carrier locked versions of S7 Edge haven't received the Nougat update, while the carrier locked versions already got the update.

I'm curious, Would it be possible for me to flash one of the firmware for the carrier models onto my phone without issues, or would it cause to many be problems to be worth it?
