Android phone that would work well with games and apps?

Hey guys.
These days I've been looking for a new phone, but I can't really decide. My current phone is an old model for Motorola with Android 2.3 and in the last while my battery doesn't last 1 day even if all I do is call someone and that won't last more than 10 minutes.
Soo my question is: Can I find a smartphone that can work with more than 2 apps, a game or two and preferably the battery to last at least 1 day?
