do not use Halifax banking app ( after update)

hi
i have a galaxy s7 edge and have the online Halifax app
a couple of days ago was informed there was an update for the app and duly updated
now the app will throw you out or sign you out will then not recognize sign in details and in the end have to reset everything via website
have been on to Halifax apparently Halifax are updating their app .....but Samsung got over excited and released it a month early!!
ive been advised not to use the app for a least a week (can still get online...
