New outlook.com contact sync broken

New to the realm of Android so please bear with me, also google didn't yield satisfactory results.

I recently got a new android phone running 5 1 1 and also my previous Hotmail migrated to the new office 365 architecture. Now 2 way contact sync between my android phone and outlook is completely broken. I am able to download the contacts from office 365 in accounts under settings, however any change or deletion is not synced back to my Hotmail. Is there an app or online service that...
