Nexus 6p Group Messaging Problem

I've had my Nexus 6p for over a month now, but I still don't receive group messages consistently. I am still able to effectively send group messages though. I've tried using other messaging apps like Textra and Go SMS but still nothing. Something that could have caused it is that I moved from an IPhone 6 to my Nexus 6p which could've caused the problem. But I already went through the procedure to disable my old Imessage. If you have any ideas I could do to fix my issue i'd appreciate it! Thanks!
