Rooting Samsung Galaxy S5 - Model SM-G900I

So I have an international model and I've had enough of various little annoyances of my phone and would like to root it to hopefully clear out as many issues as possible. Plus I want the option to customize it as I see fit, so here I am after much deliberation

So I've been told I need Cyagenmod, Xposed and TWRP but first I need to root the phone right?

So because of my model I found it a little difficult on how to start. I'm sure I've posted the same post a million other people have...
