Software update problem

since updating the software on my S6 edge plus I have several problems. One is that something called cleaner keeps running when phone is unlocked and won't let you past it until it is finished. I didn't install this. It is full of adverts. I also keep getting pop ups that were not installed, also contains adverts. I cannot find cleaner to uninstall it. Any ideas please?
