Welcome back to another episode of "Will he switch carriers?"

A couple of years ago, I almost switched cellphone carriers. I bought a couple of store-based smartphones that you called to have activated, and I had plans to use them with a "pay-as-you-go" program from another well-known carrier (instead of one of the big, big carriers that are easily known).

I wound up going with my well-known carrier again because their smartphones were free with 2-year agreement. (I couldn't beat that.)
