Note 5 KNOX Tripped, Not Sure Why

I bought a Sprint Note 5 second hand, the seller never installed a custom rom on the device and were the original owners. Are there any other ways the KNOX could be tripped? Also, could I send the phone to Sprint or Samsung to have this reset?
