Nexus / Android Smartphone Workaround. SuperGeek Needed!

Okay smartypants, here is the workaround needed with the listed requirements.
- I am leaving the country (USA) and cannot take my phone (Nexus 5) with me because my carrier does not have service out of the country. (I am not interested in another SIM card for this short trip)
- I will leave my phone at home turned on and connected to Wifi (connected to my Google account).
- I will be taking my Nexus 7 with me out of country and connect it to Wifi (connected to my Google account).
