Moto X Pure Shutting Off and not turning on when not charging.

For a few months now my Moto X Pure Edition has been shutting off when I unplug it. Meaning it'll be at like 60%-100% charged and I'll unplug it from my wall or portable charger and it'll just shut down. After it shuts off it can load the bootloader but if I try and start it it'll just open to the Motorola "M" and the screen will go black again.
I've thought about trying to see if a battery case would be an easy fix (if you know of any for Moto X Pure please tell). Also I was thinking about...
