Help! Overheating Issue

My Verizon note 5 with exynos 7420 is overheating. Based off Temps the battery can hit 35c and the exynos can hit up to 55c! While just watching videos with no apps running in the background it hits high Temps making the phone too hot to hold. The display gets very hot too. My brightness is low and I even formatted but still the issue is here. Is the temp normal?
