Galaxy Tab S 10.5 doesn't recognize memory cards

Just got a new Tab S 10.5. Love the device, works great, but when I insert any one of three (SanDisk 32gb-Kingston 8gb) cards they're not being recognized. The cards work fine in my Tab 4 10.1 and phone. I've read where some people who have this problem have gotten Samsung SD cards to work, where other brands won't. Any thoughts, advice, or comments on this snafu appreciated.
