What are the best plans in Canada right now?

I've been with Koodo ever since I owned my first smart phone, and I've always been satisfied. I'm grandfathered into an old plan that's cheap and covers all of my needs. However, lately I have a hard time recommending them to friends who want to go month-to-month or simply want a new plan. Their current plans suck compared to what they used to have. The biggest data plan you can get on a small tab is 1GB? Come on man.
