bluetooth voice control

hi all, i have my s7 edge bluetoothed to the car and can play my music answer calls even hear my text messages come through, thing is i cannot get the voice recognitioin to call anyone, it will bring up the phonebook but not call a name or number, when i get a text the car gives me the option to reply, it repeats my message, even tells me message sent, yet the message does not send from the phone, i have car mode installed changed all the settings i can possibly think of have s voice turned...
