How reliable are BLU phones in general?

This question deals more with the brand than any particular model made by blu. Whenever I read customer reviews on amazon and walmart, I see a very mixed bag. Some people say the phone is awesome and others say it's terrible. I'm really don't know what to think about that brand.

How is the quality control on their devices? Are they prone to failing?

How is the customer service in case something does actually go wrong?

How is their version of android? Lightweight and smooth or slow...
