Note seven refund, Is it Real?

Still struggling to get my refund for the note 7. requested early in September, only to get a refund for the cover $69, but no news about my phone refund even after 9 recorded phone calls.
they all escalate to a big black hole in Samsung.
probably rumors are right, waiting till note 8 is released and I will have no option but to get it for my money.
i already got my Pixel phone.
