Looking for a good tablet successor to my Nexus 7 (2013)

I have had my Nexus 7 (2013) for two years now and the screen cracked. I'm a Samsung junkie (on my fourth Galaxy phone - currently have an S7). With that being said, I LOVE my Nexus 7. I'm contemplating the Galaxy S2 8", Nvidia K1 and the Asus Zenpad S8 Z580. Trying to not spend over $400, or I would add the Nexus 9 to my list. I use my tablet a lot...web surfing, email, paying bills, playing (simple lol) games, watching movies/tv, tons of apps. I have been comparing and researching...
