Went from At&t to MetroPCS now Xiaomi Mi Max 32gb rom not working correctly.

Trying to save money and went from At&t to metroPCS family plan. Everybody got new phones except me as I want to continue using my Xiaomi Mi Max.

However, LTE data does not work and I do not get a signal inside my house. The rest of the family gets signal, I get ememrgency calls only. However it works outside the house.

I'm thinking it's frequency bands. But unsure what is the problem and how to fix. I was told they use 1900Mhz and it list MetroPCS to be compatible with this phone....
