Unable to See Rear-Facing Camera Icon

I just purchased my LG V20 a few weeks ago (actually 2 of them for a new T-Mobile account). At first, all with the camera seemed fine when I tried it (I don't take many photos). Now, besides not being able to locate some photos I initially (or accidentally) took, I am most concerned that I am unable switch the camera icon to face rearward and take regular photographs!
