Console-like interface

I have a rooted LG l Prime D337 and i am working in a fully console-like interface, what needs ROM modifications. I want to remove the nav bar (virtual buttons), i know that some xposed modules can do it and is that the system that i am using now but i prefer mods in systemui.apk. Now we arrived in the topic of the thread topic: i edited the nav/notifications bar files in the http://ift.tt/1HYEmSi but noting changes. I think in the possibilit of the cache, i wiped it and... nothing...
