Samsung Galaxy S8+ 64g unlocked proximity sensor nightmare

This phone has been back to the samsung repair center 3 times in first four months. Proximity sensor has never worked right since the day it was purchased. Replaced prox sensor on first repair. Symptoms: prox sensor would not activate and protect screen when your ear touches it. This would cause airplane mode to suddenly turn on, or ringer to turn off, or camera to abruptly turn on, or pandora to start playing. All of these could happen during phone call.
