New user introduction

Hi,
I am a hacker of old, with mediocre skills made worse by the languages I cut my teeth on (Assembler, Basic, Rexx, C to name a few).
Still, I am slowly (as time permits, I am a hardware engineer so that is my 8-5 focus ) coming to grips with OO programming.

With a rooted Note4 I am looking to convert handy tools I have created using Tasker/Zooper to manage my life, into native, small and lean apps/widgets.
