Need to replace terrible LG V20

Ok everyone, here is the situation:
My wife had an LG v10 for about 2 years and really liked it. Then we got the dreaded bootloop error one day and it would never stay powered on again.

So, we bought the LG v20 to replace it. Everything is fine EXCEPT it gets terrible service. We live in a rural area and use ATT towers. My Moto X and ZTE phones get fine service but the V20 gets nothing except in one little corner of the house. The Wifi connection on the V20 is also awful.
