How's your battery life holding up on your Honor 8?

Recently I went into settings and searched optimize and it took me to a setting where I could shut down all of the apps from running in the background which has increased my battery life ten fold. My stand by time while my phone is sleeping is so much better. Used to my battery would drain a lot overnight while I slept if I didn't have it on a charger. Now I don't even have to worry about putting it on charge when I go to sleep now as when I wake up my battery hasn't even drained at all...
