Honor 8 pro, US availability ???

I've been looking at the honor 8 pro for a little while now, and I understand a honor 9 pro may be coming , I am wondering If you get full service in the United States for 8 pro? From some of what I read, I think it might be only 3g, but I'm still not certain. Would be glad for some info on that. Also, I understand that the honor v9 is pretty much the same thing. I don't know if that makes a difference for full service, whether I get one or the other? Thanks
